May was focused on refining the trading and wallet experience across Coin98 as we continued building a more seamless and accessible onchain experience for users.
1. Product Development
1.1. Product highlights – Introducing Wallet Profile
This month, we introduced Wallet Profile for logged-in wallets, providing users with a dedicated hub to manage and monitor their wallet activity.
The new profile page serves as a foundation for upcoming wallet insights while also allowing users to:
- Check their Wallet Health score (coming soon)
- View their Universal Referral overview
- Customize their wallet avatar and profile
As we continue expanding wallet intelligence features, Wallet Profile will become the central destination for users to better understand and manage their onchain presence.
1.2. Coin98 Perps
We improved the trading experience on Coin98 Perps with several new updates:
- Unified Account Balance: Users can now use their balance across different wallets all at once, making fund management more convenient and efficient.
- Cross Position Visibility: Traders can now view Cross Margin positions directly within Coin98 Perps, providing greater transparency when managing multiple positions.
We also continued expanding market access with new Perps listings: GME-USD, LITE-USD, XLE-USD, DRAM-USD, MRVL-USD, RKLB-USD, BX-USD, EWZ-USD, ZM-USD, EBAY-USD, PURRDAT-USD, CBRS-USD, GBP-USD, SPCX-USD
To make onboarding and capital allocation more flexible, we expanded supported assets for Perps deposits. Users can now fund the Perps wallet with assets across multiple chains, including:
- USDC (Solana, Arbitrum, Ethereum, Base)
- USDT (Solana, BNB Chain, Ethereum)
- ETH (Ethereum, Base)
- BNB (BNB Chain)
- ARB (Arbitrum)
- WETH (Arbitrum)
- SOL (Solana)
1.3. Security
As security remains a core focus at Coin98.
This month, we enhanced Social Wallet security by applying the 24-word seed phrases as the default option during wallet creation. Users can now generate a 24-word recovery phrase when creating a Social Wallet, improving account security.
1.4. Enhanced other user in-app experience
Throughout May, we continued refining the overall app experience with multiple UI and usability improvements:
- Refreshed colors, icons, and illustrations across the app
- Updated the global wallet switching mechanism to synchronize wallet selection across the entire application
- Added support for token balance display and transfers on XRP Ledger
- Enhanced the Wallet More interface for easier navigation and access to wallet tools
2. Campaigns & Events
May kicked off with the SwapX Summer Festival, inviting users to explore SwapX activities and compete for rewards from a $1,500 prize pool. The campaign was designed to encourage deeper engagement with SwapX while rewarding active participants across the ecosystem.
We also partnered with Viction for the Retrodrop SS6 Pool Party, giving users additional opportunities to participate in ecosystem activities and earn rewards through eligible onchain actions. The campaign runs until June 15, so there's still time to join and grab your share of the rewards.
The 0-Fee Carnival continued throughout May, allowing users to transfer supported stablecoins on BNB Chain with zero gas fees.
3. Coin98 April Sync Overview
May was centered around improving how users trade, manage assets, and interact with their wallets. From Wallet Profile and trading enhancements to security upgrades and ecosystem campaigns, we continued refining the foundations of a more seamless onchain experience.
As we move into June, more new product features and ecosystem initiatives are already underway.
